City of Riverside and the Smart Riverside Program are
working with the Riverside Unified School District to
ensure that all students have access to computers,
regardless of their economic level. They have a variety
of programs that are listed below
that will directly benefit RVS students and families.
Riverside Virtual School salutes the effort of the City
of Riverside and are collaborating with these efforts to
ensure equity of access to electronic resources for all
students.

computer and a working internet access regardless of
income level.

The Digital Inclusion Program was created to meet
the needs of Riverside families that cannot afford
purchasing a new computer and Internet access for their
home. A partnership between various businesses in
Riverside allows Smart Riverside to acquire, restore,
and grant refurbished computers at no cost.
Participation in 10 hours of computer use training is
required.

The Comp Riverside Program is designed for
families who would like to purchase a new computer and
need support in obtaining the funding. The
low monthly payments have made computer technology
accessible to many families throughout Riverside.
